- 1.) The Fifth Rajasthan State Finance Commission (SFC) had approached NITI Aayog Chair for doing a joint research study. For this, an MOU was signed between SFC and NITI Aayog Chair in 2015. One of the key objectives of the study was to make Swachchha Bharat Abhiyan a success in Rajasthan by making local bodies self-sustained for providing quality services. A detailed study was conducted with a view to ascertaining norms for providing the civic services of Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) and Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) of the State. The Chair also prepared research papers on: Review of State Finances 2010-15 and projections for 2015-20, District Development Index for the State, Rajasthan Economy Retrospective and Prospective, and Analytics for the Report of SFC. The work was presented before SFC and was submitted to it in 2018.
- 2.) NITI Aayog Chair carried out a National Research Project entitled Employment and Employability of Higher Education Graduates in India in collaboration with the National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA), MHRD, New Delhi. The objective of the study was to understand the issue of Graduate Employability and Higher Education n in India along with three interlinked domains at the macro, institutional and individual levels. The Chair prepared a report for Rajasthan taking perspective of the major stakeholders the employers and the new employees, students and teachers. The report was submitted to the Project Director in 2019.
- 3.) In view of the Government's ambitious target of Doubling Farmers Income by 2022, the National Advisory Committee of the Chair assigned to it, a study on Assessment of Farmers Income in Rajasthan. The Chair formed a National Reference Group (NRG) for developing the methodology for conducting the fieldwork for assessing the farmers income. The study report was submitted to NITI Aayog, New Delhi in October 2020.
- 4.) At Present, the NITI Aayog Chair is working on the Performance Evaluation of Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) in Rajasthan
